Tumoi Purple Tea (Cameilia Sinensis Assamica) is a wonderfully savory tea that took 25-years to produce the perfect flavor! It is grown at elevations over 6,000 feet above sea level on the Nandi Hills in Kenya, Africa. Tea grown at higher elevations has high levels of antioxidants that have been shown in studies to help combat cancer, lower blood pressure, fight against viruses, and help against diabetes.

This tea has won many awards for its great flavor from roasting techniques by the Li family. The Li family is also known for its sustainable farming and helping to preserve the land. According to a well-known legend, it is said that a farmer had saved an emperor's wife, so he sent symbolic red robes to thank the farmer. The farmer named the tea "Big Red Robe with such honor."
