Get to Know... Debbie Wood of No Denial Foods

Debbie Wood makes treats that are, first and foremost, delicious and rich but at the same time, made with simple and nutritious ingredients that happen to be grain-free, gluten-free and low in sugar.

One of a Kind:  Welcome to the One of  a Kind Show!  What will you be bringing in December?

Debbie:  This is a very exciting show for us because we are launching a new "gifting" product line.  It is a dessert-like nut mix called Posh Nosh that's available in three flavors:  Honey, Almond Butter & Jelly, and Chocolate Walnut.  All of our treats are the perfect "feel good" gift for yourself or someone else.  We believe that you should be able to treat your taste buds and feel good about it at the same time!

One of a Kind:  What led you to create No Denial Foods?

Debbie:  I started because of my health journey.  Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a child and celiac disease as an adult, I struggled to find desserts and treats that were gluten-free but weren't loaded with tons of sugar and high starch flours.  So I took matters into my own hands and kitchen!  My creations brought me so much joy and happiness that I had to share them with others.

One of a Kind:  Who or what inspires you?

Debbie:  Other people trying to live their very best lives inspire me.  Life is hard, especially when you want to pay attention to your health and wellness.  Making life easier for me and others is my major motivation.

One of a Kind:  If you weren't producing healthy gourmet treats, what would you be doing?

Debbie:  I left a 15-year career in real estate to pursue this food business.  No Denial Foods is where my heart is now.

Debbie:  I am so excited to participate in this show for the first time and to launch Posh Nosh at it!  As someone who has been shopping the One of a Kind Show for so many years, I am so thrilled to now be able to offer you something really terrific.
