When creating a hat or coat through a flat pattern technique, I first envision the shape and also the attitude of the garment—its persona—in my mind. My team then samples and perfects the construction to flatter different people’s personalities and shapes. Over my long career I have gravitated to classic fabrics and enjoy evoking nostalgia while keeping my designs both fresh and timeless. Wool Classic: Dakota Moro/Leaf

The Lillie & Cohoe version of a Fedora, is reminiscent of the 40s but very modern. The body of the hat in Soft Wool has a melange look with lighter hairs woven into brown. Gold and bronze leaves in soft fibre are felted into a wool gauze band, and optional scarf. Dakota has our fabulous earcuff.
